Couple of quick observations - I've had the greatest success creating
accessible PDF's by using PageMaker, InDesign, or Word2k... they yield
the best (properly) tagged documents (prior to conversion to PDF).
Another major consideration is which version of the Acrobat reader will
your audience be using? Only the latest version w/ Search and
Accessibility enhancements
(http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=1439)
provides the best integration with Screen readers... and the ability to
properly traverse tables.
