TypePad blogging accessible with a screen reader?

Hey wise ones.

I am supposed to keep a blog for work and we do business with TypePad.
My virgin voyage to the blog world of TypePad took place last night,
and was not without disaster.
Their editor allows for pretty much everything, but you have to mous
select and then click what you want (be it formatting, bullets, lists
or link inserts), you can drag links into the editor from your
clipboard, but I couldnot copy and paste the raw html for a link in
(could not try clipboard, because I wanted to provide text that was
different from the text of the link on the page itself).
Worst of all, I got stuck in the body of my blog and no keyboard could
get me out of it.
I konw they have a "light" version of the edtior and some raw html
fnctionality, so I am about to mess with these options as well, but I
also saw references to keyboard short cuts without labels, such as
alt-x and alt-s, I have no idea what these do and may be they
implemented some sort of AJAX functionality which could be made
accessible fairly easily.
If anyone has experience/comments, please let me know.
I will continue to mess with this and send them an email as well.
Thanks
