i'll prefer numbered paging instead dropdown paging.
do the following:
1 well inform the user that these linkes takes you to another pages, and
make screen of this text if requires.
2 Try to use Arrow images instead CSS styled Arrows, and give descriptive
alt text.
the screen reader user can directly go to perticular page by using list of
links command.
