Mary

I am currently taking a series of corses, and certifications, through
www.w3schools.com (I just started).
They have short courses on html, css, javascript, ajax, jquery etc and
you can pay $98, take an online exam and get certification from them
that you have completed that course. I will take my first exam next
week and they offerred me a free one to test the accessibility of the
online exams.
Their material is pretty simple and easy to understand, their online
editor is pretty accessible and allows you to test things, more or
less in real time.
They have more advanced things.
I think this might be a good start for you.
Cheers
