Here at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, we have developed several
instructor-led courses that address UW's web accessibility policy. UW's
policy is modeled on 508 compliance, but is not an exact mirror image of it.
To view the outline of our web accessibility courses, please go to:
http://www.doit.wisc.edu/Training/pte/classes/categorybrowse.asp
Then browse down to Web Accessibility courses.
It is also important to note that every single web related course we teach
discusses Accessibility where appropriate. It is not taught in a vacuum and
is hopefully therefore viewed as part of "good web development" rather than
as an afterthought or add-on.
We are discussing the possibility of putting this course on-line in the
future. We would welcome feedback on the pros and cons of doing so. Thanks
