Update on Section 508 Refresh

An update was just sent from the U.S. Access Board regarding the 508 Refresh (i.e. the "Draft Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Standards and Guidelines"):

Status Update from the Access Board on the ICT Refresh
On July 13, 2011, the Access Board voted to release a second draft of the ICT rule near the end of September 2011. We are working with the Office of Management and Budget on the details. The Board is taking this step to facilitate the collection of cost information and to promote harmonization with standards efforts in Europe.
