Re: hide decorative characters from screen readers

I, as a screen reader user, actually don't mind seeind ghe |
separation character in lists. Sure, it adds an extra line of
scrolling between list items, but it also makes the separation
extremely clear.
It's never bothered me, and I think I might be able to get rid of it
by changing the punctuation pronounciation options in Jaws (though may
be this does not apply to browsing situation, I have to check that).
But, just to add an opinion, I find a lot of things a lot more
frustrating than the occasional separation character.
