any mark up that is presented as an image is not readable with screen
readers. This is especially a problem on the internet survey sites where
they want respondents to critique advertising. I frequently do surveys and I
regularly have to advise the sites about the inaccessibility of marked up
materials. Some have included the actual text of the ad but many ignore this
issue.
