Ryan,

This sounds more like some sort of memory or session-related bug than an issue with Acrobat per se. It might be a buggy file too.

If the problem persists after a system re-start I'd be happy to look at the file myself and if necessary, forward it (if permissible) to the folks who fix the tools you're usingÂ…
