Hi,

I haven't found a way to get any screen reader to read the summary in a PDF
table. However most tables don't need summaries, they're only needed when
the table is complex otherwise they can be more of an an example of too much
information than a help. If the tables have only one row and / or column
of header cells, then a summary probably isn't needed. See:

Hi,
We are generating tagged PDF using IBM Cognos. We added summary text to
tables, designated cell headers etc.
But with Jaws 13 and NVDA (2012.1), the summary text is not read.
Is there any way to check if the PDF is summary text, generated properly..
or any special keys to make the summary text read?
