Hello,

I thought I would draw your attention to some Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) activities that have been announced so far.

1. Public events have been announced on May 9 in Brisbane, Canberra, and Sydney Australia,
Bangalore India,
Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area,
and Toronto Canada.
Please go to http://www.globalaccessibilityawarenessday.org/events.html for more information and to register.

2. For those of you who are active on GitHub, The Accessibility Project has launched a Global Accessibility Awareness Day Sprint. If you can help out prior to May 9, the page is located at https://github.com/a11yproject/a11yproject.com/issues/164.

3. NC State University yesterday launched the first NC State Global Accessibility Awareness Day Website Challenge that is an idea I encourage other schools to consider taking up at their own institutions http://accessibility.oit.ncsu.edu/blog/2013/04/25/nc-state-global-accessibility-awareness-day-website-challenge.

4. The Neil Squire Society will host a free Moodle accessibility webinar on May 9. Register at
