Hi Gabriel,

Below are some resources that might help.
1: Guideline and examples http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/embedded-content-0.html#alt

2. HTML5: Techniques for providing useful text alternatives http://www.w3.org/TR/html-alt-techniques/

I'm facilitating a presentation and group discussion for our university department to learn more about best practices for providing text alternatives to graphical content. I'm also blind and presenting to a sighted audience.

I'm looking for images to use as visual examples in my presentation, especially if someone's already set up some ideal scenarios for discussing the do's and don't's of writing text alternatives. I'd like to offer examples and say, "what would you do in this situation?". Possible scenarios include decorative images, redundant images, when to use long descriptions, and the idea that one image may require different alt-text in different contexts.
Please recommend any resources you know of.
