We present CSUN costs as training costs (cost per educational hour) and compare with other accessibility conferences and available training. Even with travel, hotel and per diem included, CSUN comes out as the best educational value.

I can't provide numbers, but I can say unequivocally that CSUN is one of the best investments we make each year in terms of dissemination of WebAIM information, networking with others in the field, and professional development. Once you attend, you'll find yourself going back each year. John Foliot recently wrote a nice guide for CSUN newbies that highlights what to expect - http://john.foliot.ca/csun-for-newbies/

It is not inexpensive, for sure (4 nights at the conference hotel will cost us over $1000 per staff member), and the conference registration itself is higher than many (and there's only a slight discount for presenters), but it is usually well worth it for us.
