Deque is offering free access to the course "Web Accessibility
Fundamentals" through Deque University for a month, in celebration of
Global Accessibility Awareness Day.

The Web Accessibility Fundamentals course provides an overview of core
accessibility topics, such as:

- Types of disabilities
- Assistive technologies
- Accessibility principles
- Universal design
- An overview of high impact techniques
- Guidelines and standards
- Accessibility laws
- Myths and objections to accessibility

The course is intended for a general audience, meaning that it covers the
topics in a mostly non-technical way. The course is suitable for managers,
developers, quality assurance professionals, and anyone who is interested
in web accessibility.

Deque also offers more technical courses on HTML, CSS, Web Accessibility
Testing Techniques, and other topics. Next month Deque will debut a course
on ARIA and JavaScript accessibility. Stay tuned!
