Hi --

I use a text to speech program it's not a full screen reader. I
highlight the text i want to hear read aloud, and it passes it to a speech
synthizer, also magnifies it in a seperate window. It's a custom program,
I couldn't find anything that worked well and was cross platform meaning
worked on about a half dozen different unix varients/odd hardware, i use
for work and school. But I'm told it is somewhat like Kurzweil or Read and
Write Gold. Only it works on an SH4 running NetBsd and takes it's User
Interface Design cues from vi
