Looking for an accessible wordpress image gallery plugin

I'm looking for an accessible (and responsive) WordPress plugin.

We have a number of articles that have a collection of illustrations.
Instead of running them vertically down the screen, we are looking for a
gallery/slideshow control that will:

- allow the reader to select or sequence through the images
- have visible controls, and mobile gestures
- resize responsively
- provide captions and alt text for each image

And are accessible to read or skip over the whole control


The most promising plugin I've found so far is brand new, so not many
comments or rating to judge it by. Responsive Slider/Slideshow

(the free version is very limited, but there's an inexpensive pro version
that seems to be the same features, but no ads and other restrictions.
