Embedded You Tube Video Play and WCAG 2.0 Compliance

I've spent the morning combing the interwebs for information on the
accessibility of You Tube's video player, specifically when a video is
embedded onto a web page. Much of the information seems outdated (3+
years). If I am seeking WCAG 2.0 Level AA compliance, can I simply use the
You Tube method of embedding video, or do I need to use a different player
for You Tube-hosted videos. Or, consider Vimeo, which promotes itself as
WCAG 2.0 compliant?
