Yes, browser zoom which uniformly resizes text and other contents is sufficient according to the current WCAG sufficient techniques. G142: Using a technology that has commonly-available user agents that support zoom (https://www.w3.org/TR/2015/NOTE-WCAG20-TECHS-20150226/G142)

The LVTF is working to address this concern going forward.

Subject: [WebAIM] Any official clarification on Text-only zoom and RWD?

Is there an official/legal opinion on whether browser zoom to 200% is sufficient even if text-only zoom to 200% does not work? I recall that w/ so many sites being Responsive the fact that you can zoom text to 200% using media query/layout changes was enough but all of the info I've been able to find appears to be industry opinion. Does anyone know of any official clarification for 1.4.4?
