Subject: [WebAIM] Item Navigation in JAWS

Hello all, Greetings

Here are my couple of doubts related to the screen reader shortcuts,

1. In JAWS, to pull the list of desired elements like images, buttons etc we will use Ctrl+Insert+ element's quick key. Curious to know, is any similar shortcut like that in NVDA.

2. I find shortcut for item navigation in NVDA "Ins +4/ 6", Voice over "vo+ right/ left arrow keys" and also in Narrator but not in JAWS. When I want to read the content in any dialog especially in desktop apps as we know tabbing only takes us to interactive elements but not to any static elements. In this context, I am using shortcut to move to next item where I can access every corner of the dialog including static text. As I didn't find any shortcut for item navigation unable to read the static content using JAWS. For example unable to access item by item in my properties dialog of my computer to read the system specifications.

Hope I am clear. Thanks for all your expertise in advance.

Thanks,
Venkatesh
