On IE 11 browser, even the normal keyboard interaction is NOT working on SVG Anchor links.

For screen reader, testing with IE 11 + JAWS 18.

On Chrome browser, both keyboard and JAWS are working fine.

Thanks,
Poornima.

Is this screen reader testing? What browser/screen reader combinations were used? NVDA is intended for use with Firefox, and JAWS for use with IE. Was ChromeVox used with Chrome? I don't think user adoption is very high with ChromeVox, so I wouldn't put much time into looking at (or listening to) it.

Subject: [WebAIM] SVG Anchor links - Inaccessible on IE 11 browser?

Hi All,

There is an interactive SVG element in a website, that includes multiple anchor links and used to make selections.

When tested on Chrome browser, the SVG element is both keyboard and JAWS accessible.

However on IE 11 browser, the same element is recognized as only the "graphic". It is NOT either keyboard or JAWS accessible.

Is there any workaround to make the SVG anchor links accessible on IE 11 browser? Your thoughts, please?

Thanks,
Poornima.
