One more thing to be mindful of.

Some screen readers (Jaws at least) give you the ability to define a
very specific context for the pronunciation, e.g. a webpate or
website.
If it is not possible to define context, keep in mind the user is
changing the way these letters are pronounced in every usage context,
on the web and in other applications, which is not necessarily a good
idea.
I need to study the pronounciation dsettings of NVDA and Voiceover to
see what context can be defined.
