I looked with JAWS 2018, and it behaved differently depending on whether I was navigating with arrow keys, or tabbing. Tabbing opened up the pop-ups.

Subject: [WebAIM] Avada menu accessibility problem

Hello,

Avada is a Wordpress theme, and its developers says their theme is 100% WCAG compatibility. When I create a menu, screen readers does not work well with it. JAWS and NVDA does not announce the menu item or its position. Do you have any solution for that? Is there any accessible menu plugin for Wordpress? I found "Accessible menu for Wordpress", but it doesn't work with Avada theme.

Here is the example page: https://avada.theme-fusion.com/

Thanks for your help!

Regards,

Aron
