Subject: [il-talk] Accessibility Camp Chicago
Hello:
The first ever Accessibility Camp Chicago will take place on Saturday, September 8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the offices of Stats, LLC., 203 N.
Lasalle Street, Suite 2200, Chicago, IL. This one-day event features seven presentations on many aspects of web and app accessibility. From understanding ARIA, to getting User Experience professionals to consider all users when designing content and many more, if you're interested in accessibility there's something for you.
Cost for accessibility camp is $25.00 plus a $3.45 processing fee. This includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and the conference itself. Not bad for all this information, plus the opportunity to network with others interested in accessibility.
Check out the Accessibility Camp Chicago website at www.a11ycampchi.org.
Information is there on speakers, registration and much more. The registration goes through EventBright, which is pretty accessible but takes a little bit to work with. Accessibility Camp Chicago is brought to you by the Chicago Digital Accessibility and Inclusive Design meetup.
Thanks,
Ray Campbell
