POSITION DESCRIPTION:
* Test client's systems against assistive technology tools used to gauge compliance with key accessibility regulations such as Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, ADA Title III, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 and the 21 Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act
* Enter test results into enterprise project tracking system
* Remediate accessibility gaps discovered by providing realistic technical guidance that can be integrated into current or new user interfaces

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Associates or bachelor's degree in web development, design, or programming, information technology or a related field
* Understanding or interest in web accessibility is strongly desired
* Experience in web or application design, including tools such as Dreamweaver, Eclipse, or Bootstrap; JavaScript; HTML5, CSS4, and ES6; Word Press; CMS platform; Adobe CS; PDF document accessibility
* Strong understanding of or interest in accessibility regulations including Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, ADA Title III, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 and 21 Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act is preferred
* Demonstrated experience testing accessibility on various platforms including Windows, macOS, Android, iOS
* Experience in PC, mobile and web environments preferred
* Knowledge of scrum and agile methodologies
* Experience or understanding of assistive technology: screen readers, magnifiers and alternative input devices is preferred
