Always best to use the known built-in styles that come with Word's
Normal.dotx (template).
You can alter/modify their appearance to anything you want, but most
technologies (all kinds, not just screen readers) look for the style name.

Subject: [WebAIM] Word Accessibility Question About Built-in Styles

Hi,
Do screen readers look for the names of built-in styles or their
characteristics to identify them? I'm asking because I want to be able to
guide some people as they go through changing the visual look and feel of
template documents. If they come up with some sort of corporate style naming
scheme, I don't want that to break accessibility.

Thanks.

Jim
