Caution when using Acrobat's Edit panel.

It's been a long-known bug that when you edit any of the content with that panel's and the PDF has already been tagged, there's a sizable risk that the document's structure will be trashed somewhere in the PDF. Items like lists become mis-tagged as one <L> without any <LI> tags. Tags for tables become scrambled. 2 text <P> tags are merged into one. Footnote tags are lost. Crazy stuff like that.

And it doesn't usually happen at the point where you're editing. You could make the edit on page 1 and the tags on page 100 will happen corrupted.

This has been known by Adobe for a long time. Very long time.
