Hello,

Section 508 is a law that the US Federal Government must follow. It takes
the WCAG standards, and adds some others, namely for hardware and software.
Vendors can use the VPAT WCAG to document their accessibility or their
product, but if you are or planning to sell to the US Federal Government,
you should do the 508 version.
