Check all your 1.2 SC's and look for Audio Describe. As there is a failure for audio describe. How is a blind person going to know what the onboarding information is showing when there is no audio without audio describe or some other means of obtaining the information? I am assuming the animation is showing the person something about the app.

Subject: [WebAIM] Onboarding Video animation on Mobile

Hi All,

First of all thanks to all the forum members for helping me in previous accessibility issues.

I have a new one today and hoping to get it resolved by your valuable insights :)

We have an animation video (with no audio) in our mobile app which is shown during the onboarding for first time users and ends in like 30 seconds and has a play again button at the end and the animation doesn't loop.

The animation has text alternates below but doesn't have player controls.

So, does the animation need to have player controls in our case ?

Thanks,
Sudheer
