Although non-normative, I *thought* one of the "understanding" sections
mentioned that an icon/image could be used as the "label" of a field,
assuming the image has alternative text (1.1.1), but I can't find the
reference now (but didn't look very hard either :-)). I checked 3.3.2 and
2.4.6.
I typically allow it when I review a website.
