A new more usable and maintainable version of the W3C ARIA Authoring
Practices Guide (APG) is now available!
https://www.w3.org/WAI/ARIA/apg/
While the previous version was a long book-like document, the new APG is
now built into the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) website. The new,
browsable interface makes it much easier to read and navigate APG's design
patterns, code examples, and guidance on ARIA accessibility practices. You
can now also quickly find and share explanations of how to include
accessibility into common UI components, such as comboboxes, dialogs, and
carousels. The APG is a living resource that will be continually updated by
the W3C ARIA APG Task Force. With this new platform, you can look forward
to more features and improvements that will provide even better support to
web developers seeking to understand how to use ARIA to build accessibility
into their websites and webapps!
