I like the discretionary use of Flash, Earl. Rather than an automatic
pop-up that could be confusing, I'd suggest placing a link to the
Flash Intro on your main page. I think this method beats the standard
practice of dumping Flash on someone, then hiding a link to "Skip"
right in the animation. If you feel that you need to load it in a
pop-up, clearly warn users that it loads in a new window.

It might be interesting to see how many users actually load it.
