been given a PDF created from InDesign which includes an image of a QR cod=
e object. The PDF needs some accessibility-related changes, all of which ar=
e straightforward to make in Acrobat. (I do not have access to the InDesign=
source file.) The QR code image works fine when accessed with a camera-equ=
ipped smart phone, but of course it is not accessible to keyboard access or=
to screen reader access. </p><p class=3DMsoNormal>Questions:</p><ol style=
=3D'margin-top:0in' start=3D1 type=3D1><li class=3DMsoListParagraph style=
=3D'margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo2'>My hack solution is to use Acr=
obat to artifact the image but create a &lt;Link&gt; and Link-OBJR =E2=80=
=9Cover=E2=80=9D the image =E2=80=93 with an appropriate alternative text f=
or the link(and of course with the correct coding of the action for the lin=
k object. In my testing, the keyboard user and the screen reader user can s=
eamlessly access the QR code. Is there any reason this is wrong as a soluti=
on?</li><li class=3DMsoListParagraph style=3D'margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 l=
evel1 lfo2'>If Acrobat does include a way to create a QR code object (as I =
<i>thought</i> it does but can no longer find in Prepare Form or Edit PDF o=
r any other Acrobat DC tool) would I simply tag the object as &lt;Form&gt; =
constituent? That did not work when I tried it with a Barcode object, but p=
erhaps the QR Object would behave differently=E2=80=A6. </li></ol><p class=
