I couldn't agree with this more. Names (and other words) are pronounced
differently by people with different accents and no-one worries too
much. I've heard wi-fi pronounced why-fy and wee-fee before now to give
one example. So there's really no need to worry about screen readers
getting it wrong sometimes.
It's also near impossible to force screen readers into pronouncing
something the way you want in any case. More on this here:
