Thanks All,
I checked out Terrill's site. Looks very usable and I probably will join the pool. I got started on this theme after a former colleague (who now is a full stack developer) insisted that it would not be possible to make the brackets accessible. I have had some luck in the past with getting him to adopt accessibility techniques by showing him sample code. Now I will just have him look at Terrill's site.
My conversation with him got started when I fumed about the impossibility of my using some well-known online pools.
