well, "it depends(tm)" on what you're trying to achieve. Is there any
particular reason why you want the checkbox to remain focusable, even if
that means having to add your own custom CSS and JS (to prevent it from
being actionable/checkable)?
I can't think of a reason why I'd want to have a checkbox that
(currently) doesn't do anything still focusable...
