Does anyone know if there are any accessible message boards around. I am
looking at http://proboards.com/ and am not encouraged by what I am seeing.
I have just started looking at these and was wondering if anyone can point
me to one that is accessible so that folks could use it to set up a forum..

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Sincerely,

Michael Burks

We've been using PunBB (http://punbb.informer.com/) for some time and
it is quite accessible out of the box. It is something you have to
install and host yourself, but it will work with most any PHP web
host.

I haven't tested it for accessibility, but Vanilla [1], is a good,
standards-compliant option.
