hey all,

Does putting a drop shadow on text make trouble for people using
zoomtext or other technologies that increase text size on a monitor? Are
drop shadows considered good practise for a page that wants to
accommodate low-vision users?

for example:
http://sandyfeldman.com/dstest/dstest3.shtml

(this example works in IE and FF3)

thanks
Sandy

Hi Sandy,

Viewing the "test 3" text in your example looked great through ZoomText
in Firefox, but wasn't even a bit smooth in IE under magnification. It
was still readable, but it's quite possible that other text wouldn't be.
I can send you a screenshot if you contact me off list:

Cheers,
