Laura,
This is a great site.
I sent it out to my co-workers calling it a good resource.

Subject: RE: Accessibility Courses (508)
← Previous message | Next message →

Here at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, we have developed several
instructor-led courses that address UW's web accessibility policy. UW's
policy is modeled on 508 compliance, but is not an exact mirror image of it.
To view the outline of our web accessibility courses, please go to:

http://www.doit.wisc.edu/Training/pte/classes/categorybrowse.asp
Then browse down to Web Accessibility courses.

It is also important to note that every single web related course we teach
discusses Accessibility where appropriate. It is not taught in a vacuum and
is hopefully therefore viewed as part of "good web development" rather than
as an afterthought or add-on.

We are discussing the possibility of putting this course on-line in the
future. We would welcome feedback on the pros and cons of doing so. Thanks

There is an free online course on 508 web accesibility at the ittatc site,
www.ittatc.org and it is also at http://jimthatcher.com/webcourse1.htm.
It's purpose is 508 and I haven't seen better content, though I have seen
better presentation -- when live!

In trying to provide the best possible description for graphs and maps I
was wondering if anyone knew of a good example?
For a sample of what is being described:
