I'll be giving a presentation early next year on accessibility. The
presentations are generally limited to PowerPoint with no ability to
demonstrate a screen reader live.
I'm looking for any tools that could be used to scrape the screen and
record the audio.
I really don't need the tool to record my voice as I could just talk over
the video during the presentation.
I also see some value in our QA staff making recordings as part of bug
reports.
Any suggestions?

There are loads if you Google "screen recording software". We use Morae, which is stupidly expensive, but there are others such as OVO and Camtasia. The more expensive ones tend to have better facilities for editing the video and more choice of video file formats.

hello:
I use Camtasia Camtasia to record jaws all the time it has the ability to
pick if you want to record mike system sound and or both. It's not one
hundred useable with a screen reader but I can start and stop a recording
and create a movie file to share with people easy even lets you save rite
to YouTube
It definitely could be better but it does what I need most of the time

Our campus uses Tegrity (expensive, but works for a university of
35,000+). Some free options I know of include Jing
(http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html), Screencast-o-matic
(http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/), and CamStudio
(http://camstudio.org/).
Hope this helps,
