Does anyone have any experience with BlueJ for Java development? How
accessible is it for a blind student to use?

PP: In our experience, that environment is not accessible. Eclipse is the
only major JAVA IDE that has the most accessibility built in.

There is Sodbeans, an extension to Netbeans to make it more accessible
