Greetings Group,

I am finding that VoiceOver reads required text fields with
aria-required = true. However, it does not read when applied to a
Drop-down list element. Any feedback?

Thanks!

what does your non-filled-in select look like, in terms of markup? with some exception, a select always starts off with one option already selected, so it would fulfill any required constraint. perhaps this is why it's usually not announced?

I have found that voice over does not read required on most field types.
I was never able to get it to read it for anything other than edit fields
