Does anyone have good insight on how well Blackboard Collaborate works with JAWS? We have a program that uses Collaborate, and a JAWS user who will be participating.
Thanks,
Todd

Collaborate uses Java, so presumably the user has a new enough version
of Java to have the Java Access Bridge installed automatically.
Once inside of Collaborate it is fairly accessible. Here are the
keyboard shortcuts for using Collaborate.

Does anyone have a good process for remediating PPt presentations with
slide animations that are exported to PDF? We need to get the content to
show up from the various states in the slide animation to show as separate
slides in the PDF?

hello:
blackboard does work with jaws but i have found it to be hit and miss a
lot of the time. the screen reader user of course will need any slides a
head of time and should make sure they know how to log in and have there
system ready well before the events. but saying even that i have found that
i just could not get jaws to work in the meeting even though i had just
done so just a few hours before that i found it to be inconsistent in the
way it worked with jaws..
it has been about two years though since i did this and i asoom that it
has gotten better but i fear from what i here from others it is still hit
and miss if a meeting can go off with out a hitch. also make sure the user
gets some basic training in knowing witch window is the meeting and witch
is the plugin and witch ones to close and witch ones to leave open hope
this helps lucy
