Hello All:
I know that Vimeo introduced captioning with it's player last year. How
accessible, however, is it for a person using a screenreader? Is it as
accessible as the HTML5 player in YouTube?
Thanks in advance.

I dunno about screen readers, but I've noticed keyboarding pages which
embed both kinds of videos, that I can move around YouTube videos fine
but can't seem to get at the controls of Vimeos. But I would love to
hear from others to know if this is somehow just me or what. I've also
noticed a difference between Firefox and IE but I can't remember what
those differences were at this moment (but this was with ZoomText, so
the differences might have just bee ZT being more vocal in IE than in
FF).

I have seen a few players that only gives access to the container itself,
vs the controls. This acts like a big play/pause/replay, and doesn't give
you access beyond that

Equally, how accessible is the Vimeo site and the player accessible to speech recognition software (e.g., Dragon NaturallySpeaking) users?
