Hello,

I would like to learn how to make a report on the accessibility of a
website. I would like to be able to check what are the problems within a
website and give advice on how to improve the accessibility of a website.
Is there any free resources, methodology or training available?
My goal is then, to train a team of people with disabilities who will get
paid to run accessibility testing.
Any advice or support is more than welcome :)

Hi Juliette,

If your testing will be conformance-oriented you may want to base your report on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0). One free non-proprietary tool for testing is the WCAG-EM Report Tool

... which is an implementation of the WCAG Evaluation methodology
https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG-EM/

The tool has a reporting function - you can save results locally. I am not sure about printing / exporting options.

I am not sure however whether the tool is really suited for people who are beginners (you said you would train a team of people with disabilities). Just to note a difference to other national or company-specific tools, the WCAG-EM report tool does not beak down complex Success Criteria like 1.3.1 Info and relationships into individual checkpoints (like check headings, check lists, check inline mark-up, check table mark-up, etc) which can be helpful. It also does not give you an operatiomnal protocol - you would have to resort to tests included in the WCAG Techniques and Failures for that ( https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG-TECHS/ ).
