Have any of you had to integrate JAWS licenses with a Citrix domain and remote hosting? It's proving to be a puzzler as there seems to be a disconnect in how people actually use JAWS when testing remotely. The documentation for client and server hosting makes it seem like I have to open JAWS both locally and within Citrix?
Has anyone else ever struggled with this?

Emily -
This is a question most appropriate for the JAWS mailing list or their tech
support. The WebAIM list is not an A.T. support list, but for general web
accessibility questions and discussions. With that said, perhaps someone
here may have an answer to your question.
Thanks,
Jared

Yes, JAWS must be running on both the Citrix server and on the client machine. The information (text to speak, braille, keystrokes, etc.) is sent across a virtual channel from the JAWS on the server to the JAWS on the client and vice versa. There is a special install you can do on the server to limit what is installed to the minimum. All of the information should be available in JAWS help to help you set it up. You need to check some checkboxes for each side to indicate which side it is client or server.
