Hi all,
My name is Tyler Shepard and I am seeking advice on how to get in to the accessibility testing field. I use a screen reader and wonder if anyone knows of any companies or connections where I can do that full time?
Any advice you can give would be great. Thanks for your advice.
Thanks in advance.
If you should have any more questions I will be around to answer them.

If you rely on a screen reader for your daily work then you might qualify
for a "scholarship" for the deque university training. See
https://dequeuniversity.com/scholarships
Take the classes and practice then apply for a testing job. Lots of
companies hire accessibility testers. Some companies focus solely on doing
testing for other customers and some companies want in-house testers. I
don't want to advertise directly on this forum so send me a private message
if you want info about my company. I'll also give you ideas of other
companies but I don't want to advertise for them on this forum either
<smile>.

Note also that if you reply directly to any of these postings, the default
is for your reply to go to the entire list. So be careful about replying
if you're intending a response to go to one person. You should be able to
get the sender's email address in the header of the email. The default
"reply to" field is the forum list.
