If I am not mistaken
If you were to press “?” When you were in Gmail
That should bring up a list of commands.

Lucy,

I usually look in the file menu and open a dropdown like File or Edit and see what it shows next to each item like

File menu dropdown
Save Control plus S
Save As Control plus Shift plus S

Edit menu dropdown
Cut control plus X
Copy control plus C
Paste control plus V

Both of the above in Notepad in Windows.

The newer versions of Word have switched from showing such things.

Microsoft lists these common ones at this URL
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-keyboard-shortcuts-3d444b08-3a00-abd6-67da-ecfc07e86b98

Is that what you're looking for or something different?

Lucy, I am a screen reader user.
And I know a lot of different shortcuts using a screen reader I am not sure that all those shortcuts will work for sighted users.
However, I do know that when you are using the menus, if there is a letter underlined, in the menu, that would be the shortcut key for that specific function.
I will do some research and see if I can find a list of short cut keys. However typically you would either use control X to cut control C to copy control V as in Victor for paste etc. I'm sure you know those but each application in the ribbon also has a shortcut key that you would use the “alt “button for, plus the letter of a particular option

Hello Lucy,

Here's a list of keyboard shortcut commands online<https://www.computerhope.com/shortcut.htm>. Tested with VoiceOver to make sure it's working.

Wikipedia also has a comparison list, but it has some accessibility issues with the table and double announces some of the key presses.

Best,

~ Joshua
