Just thought I would let you know that when filling out the Screen reader survey Using the current version of Jaws that none of the question text was being spoken when tabbing from question to question.
All worked correctly when using earlier versions.
I have notified Vispero of this.

David –

Thank you for the heads up. Nothing has changed in the structure of the survey from previous years and it uses very standard and basic fieldset/legend and form labels, so I suspect that if the questions are not being read that it is either a custom setting in your installation of JAWS or perhaps a bug.

Thanks,

Just writing to say that I got the following response from Vispero support about this issue.

This works with the latest 2023 update for December and should also work for the next update in JAWS 2024. I tested a private build in JAWS with Edge, Chrome and Firefox and it worked as expected.

The current 2024 works in Firefox but in Edge and Chrome with the current build I had to toggle the virtual cursor off with Insert + Z.

Again this should be fixed in the next update for 2024.

Thank you, but I am using JAWS, 2024, and had to exit out of forms mode to go up and read the questions.
