Hi,
For people who do not understand HTML or CSS, how can I provide them a way to test for this criterion?
Thanks.

Jim,
I would recommend downloading the Stylus Chrome extension.
It enables you to set CSS configurations and comes with a pre-programmed configuration named "text-spacing for accessibility" . All you have to do is click on the extensions icon in the browser toolbar and select that configuration. Simpleas that. And it works for me all the time which some of the bookmarklets don't.
