I'm writing an article with three challenges to simulate some of the
obstacles people with disabilities face when surfing the Internet. For
years I have used http://www.delorie.com/web/lynxview.html as a quick and
dirty text browser, but it now requires file to be added to the viewed
website. Needless to say, that lynx viewer will no longer work for my
purposes.
Does anyone know of another quick and dirty lynx viewer?? I'm not looking
for anything sophiscated or complex. I simply simply want readers to
experience graphic-less browsing. Of course, the other option is to have
them turn off images in their own browser, but that is assuming they know
how to do that.
And, of course, an immediate response would be very appreciated!
Cheers,
Glenda

Thanks for these suggestions. I was hoping for something simple so readers
didn't need to download and install as that assumes they have that
capability /capacity.
Cheers,
Glenda

A really good tool is Webformator:

It's free, but you have to download and install it.
It works only with IE (toggle with F12).

There are still one or two public Lynx sites available, including
<http://lynx.scramworks.net>.
